Harvesting of any kind is not allowed in the research forest. This includes but is not limited to foraging and the removal of mushrooms, plants, flowers, nuts, and cones. This removal disrupts important ecological processed and ongoing scientific studies. Preserving the integrity of these ecosystems is essential for producing reliable scientific insights.
The forest is also home to a diverse array of animals and insects, many of which rely on even the smallest organisms to survive.
