International student from Germany GPS-ing a cutblock boundary
Duties will include but are not limited to assisting Research Forest staff with:
- Research project site maintenance, sample and data collection
- Vegetation database development and data collection in the field
- Wildlife monitoring
- Trail maintenance
- Information management with image database
- Planting
- Silviculture surveys
- Cutblock boundary and access road traverses
- Mapping using GIS and GPS technology
