The Hot Spot Sauna Sessions: June 29 | 2pm-4pm

Cancellation Policy: Registration can be cancelled with a minimum of 7 days notice, and a refund will be issued minus a $5 cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than 7 days notice will not receive a refund.

Acknowledgement of Risk Form: An Acknowledgement of Risk form must be filled out by each participant. Any registrants who do not submit this form will not be able to attend the event. The form will be emailed to you prior to the event date.

Illness Policy: There is zero tolerance for any participant attending the field sessions while sick or exhibiting any cold or flu like symptoms..

Arrival: The sauna is located at Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre, 6km within the Malcolm Knapp Research Forest. Attendees will be emailed directions and a gate code prior to the event date for access to Loon Lake.

All sauna users must abide by the following sauna policies:
• Use sauna at your own risk.
• Do not use the sauna if you have heart disease or unregulated blood pressure or otherwise advised by a physician.
• Positively no drugs or alcohol are permitted in the sauna.
• Minors have to be accompanied by an adult.
• Remove all metal jewelry prior to entering.
• Towels to sit or lie on are mandatory.
• Enter and exit the sauna room quickly and quietly.
• No shoes in the sauna. Clean your feet in the water bucket before entry.
• Hydrate between sauna sessions. Don’t bring any cups/mugs in the sauna room.
• Don’t throw more than one ladle of water on the rocks at one time.
