George Heyman, the provincial Minster of Environment and Climate Change Strategy, visited the Malcolm Knapp Research Forest on December 11, 2023. He and Maple Ridge- Mission MLA Bob D’Eith got a chance to see the SD42 Environmental School in action, and learn more about the research forest and its conservation, biodiversity research and community connection from MKRF manager Hélène Marcoux.
